Mr. Sanada was qualified as a patent attorney in December, 1985. Since founding Sanada Patent Firm (previously known as Sanada & Associates), he has handled prosecutions and appeals, and provided expert opinions and consultation in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering (including communication, information, and electronics).

Mr. Sanada has been involved in the Approved Evaluator of IPEC for 3G Patents Evaluation etc. since 2003. He has also been a member of the Japan Intellectual Property Arbitration Center (JIPAC) and has been taking a role as a Mediator, Arbitrator, and Panelists Candidate since 2003. In addition, he is engaged in many activities of the Japan Patent Attorneys Association.
